100 percent Turkish soft drink ColaTurka battles against Coca-Cola, the symbol of American culture, in the Turkish market while Turkish food giant Ulker aims to gain a big share in the soft drink market of the overwhelmingly Muslim Middle East amid a growing anti-US campaign

ANKARA - New York'ta Bir Morning (One morning in New York) Chevy Chase, playing the role of an ordinary American family man, sees a group of true Americans waving Turkish flags and chanting "Hurray Turkey!" It is not a fantasy but the first of the multi-part commercial launched as "New York'ta Bir Morning." Then he enters a typical American coffee house, where he meets a friend wearing a typical cowboy outfit but holding tespih (Islamic beads; an accessory of a typical Turkish macho). He says "Hi Coni," to Chase.
