[Presenter Sen Lam] The main Muslim rebel group in the Philippines, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front [MILF], has announced the death of its leader Salamat Hashim. Chairman Salamat died on 13 July but the MILF delayed the announcement to allow for a smooth transition of power. The new leader is Murad Ebrahim, vice-chairman of military affairs in the MILF. With Mr Ebrahim's reputation for pragmatism, might we then expect a change in the MILF's position in peace talks? Kanaha Sabapathy reports.
