Taiwan's state-run Chinese Petroleum Corp (CPC) will build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Taichung harbour, central Taiwan, a CPC spokesman said.
The LNG terminal will handle delivery for state-own Taiwan Power Co's Tatan power plant on a 25-year contract scheduled to start in 2008.
