Khankala, 1 August: Special flight teams have been set up at airfields in the North Caucasus to carry out combat missions in Chechnya, a source at the headquarters of the Combined Force in the North Caucasus told Interfax-Military News Agency on Friday [1 August].
"Special teams of planes and helicopters have been established in Chechnya and adjacent regions of the North Caucasus to inflict strikes on rebel groups and to airlift cargo and personnel," the source said.
