ENGROSSED with makeup, skin care and body sculpting lately, I suddenly realized one morning that my hair was severely neglected. My fault really.
My last haircut was four months ago and in a two-month span I have curled, straightened and colored my hair five times. Result: oily scalp and damaged hair that one can't comb.
I decided to go back to the basics of hair care, address other scalp and hair care problems and talk about the products meant for them.
Step 1: Tried a reputable new stylist for a new look. Had my hair styled by Stefan of Basement Salon. He cut off the damaged ends and shaped my hair to fit my face. He also fixed my color, adding conditioners to restore health and shine. The results just kept getting better with time! The first week, I felt my hair was good, but as time passed it shaped up great!
Color is surfacing (auburn-golden brown with highlights) and my fine hair has acquired volume and behaves well. Very wash-and-wear and totally NOT boring!
