CEBU CITY-Interior Secretary Jose Lina Jr. has vowed to show results in the renewed war against illegal drugs in three months.
Lina, chair of the Dangerous Drugs Board, made the promise during the launching of the anti-drug campaign in Central Visayas recently.
He said in his speech that the government would show to the public the results of his anti-drug operations within three months.
Lina, however, urged the public to help the police in the campaign by providing information on persons involved in illegal drugs in their community and the existence of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) laboratories.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Cebu earlier said surveillance operations were being conducted on three suspected shabu laboratories.
