Bujumbura, 30 July, 2003: Reacting to remarks, recently made by the governor of Kayanza Province [northern Burundi], who accused the Ndayikengurukiye-led FDD [Forces for the Defence of Democracy] as being among the authors of the despicable crimes perpetrated on 21 July 2003 on National Highway No 1, the minority-wing of the CNDD-FDD has categorically denied these allegations.
