Nabil Abu-Rudaynah, adviser to President Arafat, has said that the meeting between Muhammad Dahlan, minister of state for security affairs, and the Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mufaz failed because the Israeli offers lacked seriousness.

Abu-Rudaynah called on Israel to carry out a gradual and an immediate withdrawal from all cities, release detainees without exception, end sieges and remove roadblocks, which hamper the movement of citizens.
