New Delhi, 31 July: India on Thursday [31 July] said it was ready to discuss nuclear and other confidence building measures with Pakistan as part of a composite dialogue but a conducive atmosphere had to be created for it by ending cross-border terrorism. Labelling recent offer of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf of a "no war pact" as "propagandistic" in nature, Junior Minister for External Affairs Digvijay Singh told the parliament's upper house Rajya Sabha that these statements were made to divert attention from Islamabad's continued support to cross-border terrorism.
