Blackwill allays fears of US visa regulations.

NEW DELHI: US Ambassador to India Robert D Blackwill, who is leaving home to take up a new assignment, assured that the vast majority of visitors from India to the US will experience no disruption to their travel because of the new stringent regulations.

In a farewell message to Indians through the media on Wednesday, Blackwill said, "the number of visas issued has not diminished. Seventy per cent of the applicants get the visa. This was true before September 11 (2001) and this is true now."
