Gazprom struggling to save Blue Stream.
Russian gas monopoly Gazprom has failed yet again to resolve a price and volume dispute with Ankara, which has halted gas imports since March into Turkey via the $3.4 billion Blue Stream gas pipeline system extending under the Black Sea.
Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller met Turkish Energy Minister Hilmi Guler in Ankara last week to discuss the issue but left without claiming to have made any progress at the talks. "The two sides agreed to continue consultations on the issue," Gazprom said in a statement.
