Study results revealed that a theaflavin enriched green tea extract (a unique combination of theaflavins and catechins) has a cholesterol-lowering effect and no significant side effects or adverse reactions. The results of the study were also posted at the Mar 2003 meeting of the American College of Cardiology. The same extract can be found in the dietary supplement, Nutrilite Cholesterol Health.
