Aventis Pharmaceuticals announced the results of a pivotal trial, Tax 326, were published in the online version of the Journal of Clinical Oncology in Jul 2003. The three-arm study compared the effect on survival and quality of life of two Taxotere (docetaxel) Injection Concentrate-platinum regimens vs vinorelbine and cisplatin (VC) as first-line chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
