Jordan Telecom has appointed Laurent Mialet as new CEO, who is charged with taking the company into its next phase, ahead of liberalization of the fixed line market in January 2005.

Mialet's arrival from France Telecom's International Division, reaffirms the French company's active interest and commitment to the development of the Jordan Telecom Group. Mialet, who was instrumental in negotiating the acquisition of Jordan Telecom by France Telecom in 2000, joins the company responsible for providing world-class telecommunications services throughout the Kingdom.
