Aliu, Emedolu win sprints titles at Nigerian trials.

Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - Top sprinters Deji Aliu and Endurance Ojokolo won the men's and women's 100m titles on Saturday as the Nigerian trials for both the August World Athletics Championship in Paris and October's All-Africa Games in Abuja rounded off in the Nigerian capital.

Aliu, who has been in top form on the European circuit, breasted the tape at 9.98 seconds, ahead of World Cup champion Uchenna Emedolu, who timed in at 10.05 seconds.

In the women's event, Ojokolo won her third title when she beat a strong field with a time of 11.27 seconds.
