CHINA, July 21, SinoCast -- As early as June 14, 2002, vice general manager of China Mobile Lu Xiangdong unveiled two value- added services by the company - mobile banking and mobile payment service (MPS) - which need to work closely with banks.

The company started research and development on MPS three years ago. After three years of development, places that have accomplished system upgrading, including Beijing, Zhejiang Province, Guangdong Province and Shanghai, are now promoting MPS enthusiastically.
