Charlotte County Public Schools invite all families to a Back to School Extravaganza from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 2 at Charlotte Sports Park, 2300 State Road 776, El Jobean.

Activities will include a bike rodeo, face-painting, door prizes, safety education, water obstacle course and dunking booth.

Local organizations and agencies will provide free physicals, vision screenings and school immunizations during the event.

Free school supplies will be given out while they last. High school students can participate in a car show from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be prizes and trophies, and…
