Myriad Genetics Inc and Mayo Clinic are collaborating on the development of novel Alzheimer's disease therapeutics based upon several drug candidates that have been discovered at Mayo Clinic. Myriad Genetics has received worldwide exclusive therapeutic rights to the drug candidates and to further drug discoveries that result from collaboration on compounds that lower the beta amyloid peptide, Abeta42. Myriad Genetics has also licensed a broad patent application from Mayo Clinic that relates to compounds that lower Abeta42.
