Sofia, 17 July: The appointment of a new deputy prime minister in charge of European integration is a clear signal for Brussels, according to Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg. During the parliamentary debates on the government changes he proposed Wednesday [17 July], the prime minister said that the former floor leader of the ruling Simeon II National Movement Plamen Panayotov becomes deputy prime minister for European integration to send a signal to Brussels that this is Bulgaria's priority, and it wants to make sure that everything required of it will be done the right way and in due time.
