USS THACH (FFG43) Operating in Central Command's Area of Operation--While participating in the Eastern Sailor03-2 Exercise in Doha, Qatar, the Supply Department of USS Thach got their chance to shine with a ten star luncheon on Feb. 23, 2003.

"It was both a thrill and a pleasure to be able to serve such a distinguished group of guests. An event like this doesn't happen too often, especially on a ship as small as a frigate," said MS1 (SW) Wilson Aguarin.

In attendance were the U.S. Ambassador to Qatar Maureen Quinn, Maj. Gen. Steven Whitcomb, RDML (Sel) Garry E. Hall, Maj. Gen. Jim Shwitters, and Brig. Gen. Dennis Moran.
