The combat phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom has ended and many of our Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Soldiers are returning home after proving once again the U.S. military is truly the most awesome fighting force in the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with those still serving in the Middle East and especially with the families of those who lost their lives during the war. Their service will not be forgotten.

Many of our Supply Corps officers served in theater during the war and are still serving to aid with the reconstruction of Iraq and support the continuing U.S. military presence in the region. In addition to those whose parent commands were located forward, there were another 39 Supply Corps officers on temporary duty at forward locations in support of contingency operations.
