Nov. 1--DOVER TOWNSHIP -- The Toms River Regional school district will seek voter approval Dec. 12 for a $13.4 million expenditure for a variety of projects, including a five-classroom addition at Toms River High School South.
Superintendent of Schools Michael J. Ritacco said the Board of Education approved the referendum at a special meeting Monday night.
Because the district will be paying off some of the bonds for construction of the Joseph A. Citta Elementary School later this year, approval of the referendum projects would result in no increase in the school purposes tax rate here, Ritacco said.
