IBM TO SET UP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE IN PUNE, INDIA.
BANGALORE, Oct 31 Asia Pulse - IBM on Tuesday said it will set up a development centre in Pune, which will develop, manage and deliver industry-specific business services to its clients.
The company also announced the opening of a similar Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) centre in Beijing. Both the centres, which are based on Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) would serve as the foundation of a new, globally integrated model for delivering SOA-based services for the company, it said in a statement.
The SOA services market is expected to reach US$160 billion by 2008, the statement said adding, about 500 IBM SOA experts would be deployed in each of the centres. The centre in Pune would initially develop repeatable business services for the ...
