Nov. 2--With construction in progress and the Chapman Cultural Center scheduled to open in about a year, The Arts Partnership of Greater Spartanburg kicked off a campaign Wednesday to raise the extra money needed to complete the facility.
Arts supporters need an additional $3 million and funds from the sale of the partnership's Spring Street property to finish financing the $44.4 million project. As of August, the organization has more than $39.8 million in public and private pledges.
