The Wireless Group's boss Kelvin MacKenzie has renewed his attack on Rajar after it rejected the use of electronic measuring devices for radio audiences.

Writing in this week's Media Week , MacKenzie criticises Rajar's decision as being prompted by "a collection of vested interests" and confirmed he will be taking legal action.

Rajar announced last week it had, "for the time being", ruled out bringing in either of two alternative monitoring systems it had been trialing, one of which was backed by MacKenzie's TWG, through market research group GfK.
