Maputo, Mozambique (PANA) - The UN Development Programme Thursday re-emphasised the urgency for the world to act "immediately and decisively" to ensure that the Millennium Development Goals are achieved by 2015.
In his address to the African Union Summit here, UNDP Administrator Mark Malloch Brown warned that at the present rate, the goals could not be achieved.
"The critical investment must be made now. It is a dramatic challenge and we call on everyone to give this the priority it desperately needs," he said.
