Ismael Salas, Thailand's national boxing coach, said yesterday he would be willing to call it quits after the Athens Olympics next year following newspaper reports that his work isn't being appreciated by the Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand (Abat).
Disgruntled over reports that his coaching job is on the line because he hasn't been able to produce tangible results since taking over the national boxing team a year ago, Salas said he couldn't help feeling resentful over the unjustified reports that his work has been below par.
