Emirates are offering busy travellers a chance to bypass check-in queues by opting for electronic check-in machines.

Passengers travelling with hand luggage only can opt for the machines at airports around the region now

Skywards members can check in electronically at Dubai International Airport in the Emirates first and business class departures hall. Kiosks are also in the airport's main departures hall for members travelling in economy class. Passengers insert their membership card and their booking is displayed on the kiosk screen.

They can then confirm or change their assigned seat, register their Skywards or partner frequent flyer Miles, and …
