PDA makers are blurring the distinctions between the two main types, Palm OS and Pocket PC models.
Choosing between the two is now a matter of deciding which you need more: Palm OS's compatibility with a wide variety of software that runs on computers and PDAs, or the Pocket PC's ties to Microsoft Windows.
