This much-anticipated vehicle, Volvo's first genuine sport-utility, appears to be a very competitive new entry. Ours cost us $44655, typically equipped. So far, it has performed predictably and well.
The turbocharged, 268-hp, 2.9-liter Six in our T6 provides ample acceleration, although it hesitates between first and second gears. We haven't run formal fuel-economy tests, but in general winter driving, fuel economy seemed to be about 15 mpg.
