Alliance High School reached their first Prescott Cup final when they edged Nairobi School 9-8 at Impala Club on Monday
In the historic final on Friday, Alliance will play former champions Lenana who eliminated another regular winner, St Mary's School, 17-8 at the RFUEA ground.
Alliance pulled off their close win by coming from behind 3-8 at half-time.
Ironically, it was Nairobi who exhibited a stronger desire to win and started off with a try by hooker Alvin Ochieng.
But fly-half Ibrahim Mohammed, whose kicking form has dipped ever since Nairobi met with Strathmore at the Nairobi schools' final, failed to convert.
