1 Surfdock Grand Canal Yard
Thrills and spills with kids on windsurfing courses. It costs [euro]190 all-in for five days,10am to 5pm. All they need is togs, towel, packed lunch, spare clothes (in case!) and anold pair of runners . . . which will get wet! 2 National Aquatic Centre
As seen on the Special Olympics, a fantastic world-class complex with a 50-metrecompetition pool, diving boards and leisure pools. The kids' pool has slides, a pirate ship,wave machines and more. There is also a great slide, the Master Blaster, a 'Lazy River' where you float around, and other slides and rides. 3 Ballet Ireland
The summer school is runningAlice in Wonderland, put on at the end of theweek-long course. Civic Theatre, Tallaght, July 21 to 25. Tel 462 7477. Or for keen modern dancers the Dance Theatre of Ireland is running evening classes (for those aged13 and up) in salsa, modern/hip hop, contemporary and yoga.
