MOSCOW -- The Sladco confectionary concern said Monday that it has sold one of its three factories, Zarya, in the Tatarstan capital of Kazan, which it purchased at the end of 2001.
Details were not disclosed.
Last year, Sladco produced 95 tons of chocolates, waffles, caramel and biscuits and posted sales of $119 million. Zarya, which employs 750 people, accounted for 14 percent of the total.
