PRAGUE, July 1 (CTK) - The Czech government coalition is considering setting up a single agency that would grant state orders, daily Lidove noviny (LN) writes today.
During talks on public finance reform, representatives of the government coalition parties agreed on the creation of a specialised agency that would organise and secure orders for the whole state sector, which in their view would reduce corruption in public procurement, LN writes.
However, the project has been only outlined. "It's a long- distance run," LN quotes as saying Eva Novakova of the Finance Ministry, where an inter-ministerial working group that would prepare the establishment of the agency should be set up.
