KARACHI, July 1 Asia Pulse - The average gas production in the country during first nine months of the current fiscal year has increased by five per cent to 2,648 mmcfd from 2,526 mmcfd where power sector is the largest consumer of natural gas with 39 per cent share during the period, according to official statistics.
The share of the power sector in the nine months of this fiscal year is higher than last 12 years average share of 34.5 per cent.
