SEOUL, July 1 Asia Pulse - Railway workers will likely end a four-day strike Tuesday as union leaders are leaning toward seeking dialogue with the government rather than continuing the walkout.
The Korean National Railroad union will vote at 10 a.m. on whether to continue the strike.
The results of the vote, which will involve some 10,000 union members at 8 regional branches of the union, are expected as early as 1 p.m.
However, officials cautiously predict that the railroad union could choose to cease the collective action amid public sentiment against the strike, even if the majority of workers vote against such a move.
