IRAN, BRITAIN TO EXPAND ECONOMIC COOPERATION.
TEHRAN, July 1 Asia Pulse - Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Tahmasb Mazaheri is scheduled to discuss expansion of Tehran-London economic and trade cooperation with the British Trade and Industry Secretary Patricia Hewitt and Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown during his upcoming visit to Britain, it was declared here on Sunday.
Mazaheri, who is to visit Britain at the invitation of Gordon Brown, will deliver a speech at a gathering of the British industrialists and managers at London's Royal Institute for International Affairs.
During his visit, the Iranian finance minister will be accompanied by a delegation consisting of an MP, heads of investment and taxation organizations, deputy governor of the Central Bank of Iran in charge of hard currency affairs, a number of managers from Oil Ministry, senior advisor to the secretariat of the High Council of Free Trade Zones and some financial and economic experts.
