BANGALORE, July 1 Asia Pulse - German-based IT product major SAP said it planned to double its workforce in India to 2,000 in the next 3 years and move a part of its BPO operations to the country.
"As part of our strategy, we are aiming to double the force in India," SAP Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Henning Kagermann said here Monday.
SAP India has close to 1,000 employees including over 500 professionals at SAP Labs India, one of the strategic solutions development centres for SAP, and the firm's largest R&D centre outside Germany.
