GOOD housekeeping begins with one's self-your body and mind. Once you have placed yourself in good order, then you can extend this sense of "all-rightness" to your physical world-your home, office, community, country.
Why? Because how you live, behave, eat and dress is a reflection of who you are.
Here are some tips from counselors and nutritionists.
Mind yourself
* Get rid of mental garbage. The original garbage dump is your mind. In it, you store many toxic substances called negative thinking like guilt, fear, anger, hostility, hatred, pettiness, jealousy. Throw them out by having an honest chat with yourself. If this may seem strange to you (although it is an effective way of reaching your subconscious), then put your negative thoughts on paper. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you recognize thought patterns that are destructive. For every negative thought, write down a positive one, i.e., "I'm the most cowardly person on earth but I also have redeeming qualities."
