A mass grave was discovered by labourers taking sand from Sebaou river bank in Tizi Ouzou [Province]. They found the corpses of at least 13 persons underneath the sand of the river bank, in an area close to the bridge leading to Sidi Naamane Municipality and not far from Draa Ben Khedda [90 km to the east of Algiers]. Search is still under way for possible more bodies. The security authorities are focusing on identifying the corpses and the circumstances of death.
