In keeping with the aim of presenting both a popular and an academic face, a new library and research facilities have been created at Waddesdon Manor, the Rothschild property in Buckinghamshire. It contains a working library as well as a collection of rare books, many of which relate to the collections in the house. For example, the Sevres porcelain displayed on the first floor is complemented by a volume of Emile Bourgeois's Le Biscuit de Sevres au XVIIIe Siecle, of which only two hundred copies were published in ...
