TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona State University President Michael M. Crow today is announcing the second $50 million gift to ASU in six months. The gift, to endow the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, is from Ira A. Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes. In recognition of the gift, the college is being renamed the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering.
Last January, Crow announced a $50 million gift to endow and name the university's business school.
To put the amount of the gifts and the time frame in perspective, ASU's largest single gift in its history was $12 million.
