FIVE more unofficial car parks for passengers using Bristol International Airport are set to be shut down.
Last night North Somerset Council's south area committee agreed to take action to close down the five cut-price car parks.
The authority is already taking enforcement action against the operators of four sites which opened to undercut charges at the airport's official car parks.
The latest sites to be shut down are at the Old Forge and The Airport Tavern, both at Lulsgate Bottom; land next to Tall Pines Golf Course in Wrington; Goblin Coombe Farm, Redhill, and at Ashdale and Downside House Farm, Downside.
The committee heard that one of the sites advertised itself as "Parking 4 Bristol Airport - a new independent service saving you money on your car parking fees."
