(From Bristol Evening Post)

POLICE are hunting three men who twice burgled the home of a man suffering from motor neurone disease.

The criminals first took advantage of the man as he lay helpless on the floor of his flat in Kingsdown.

He had left the front door open because he was expecting a carer to arrive but he fell over and was unable to get up.

He called for help and two men heard his cries.

They entered the flat and claimed to be working in the block of flats, looking for a water leak.

After they left, the 63-year-old man found that cash was missing.
