The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) wants President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to run in the presidential elections in 2004.

SHDA chairman Teofisto Guingona III made the announcement during the organization's national convention yesterday at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, where Ms. Arroyo was guest of honor.

He said the SHDA board of governors had approved a resolution asking Ms. Arroyo to reconsider her decision not to run for President next year.
