Poland: Former Gdansk Refinery wants to swallow three southern refineries.

Gdansk, 18 June: Grupa Lotos SA (the new name of the Gdansk Refinery) asked Nafta Polska to add three smaller refineries from southern Poland to the group, its spokesman said on Wednesday [18 June]. The three companies are Czechowice, Glimar and Jaslo.

"Despite their difficult financial situation we see chances" of success of the enlarged group, Lotos president Pawel Olechnowicz declared.
