KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 (Bernama) -- Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) has declared a dividend of 6.80 sen per unit for its Amanah Saham Didik (ASD) trust unit for the year ending June 30, 2003.

This would involve a total of RM24.20 million in dividend payments to unitholders, chairman of Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid, told a press conference here today.

He said the dividend rate was a competitive one considering the current market situation and the rate of returns from other instruments of investments with similar risk ratio.
