SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Society of Employers (ASE), HR Management Group, and Manpower Inc. will present a Global Human Resources Briefing from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 26, at the Somerset Inn, 2601 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy. Guest speaker Robert W. Lincoln, senior vice president of global human resources for Manpower Inc., will address global workforce development.
Mr. Lincoln will outline the myriad issues companies face during the globalization process and the role human resources should play in creating an effective global structure that is capable of competing and succeeding in the marketplace. Mr. Lincoln will draw from his 24 years of human resources experience, including time as director of human resources, mergers and acquisitions for the Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Mich. His experience includes recruiting and placement, group facilitation, compensation, relocation, employee development, and people strategy development and implementation.
The Global HR Briefing is free of charge and open to all members of the Detroit area business community. Breakfast will be provided.
