As reported in late editions of yesterday's Post, a judge in Nottingham has granted Brendon Fearon permission to proceed in a civil case against Martin.
Fearon, 33, in jail for dealing heroin, was blasted in the leg by a shotgun as he attempted to burgle Martin's Norfolk farmhouse.
Backed by legal aid, he is claiming a reported GBP15,000 for loss of earnings, post-traumatic stress disorder and damage to his sex life.
Sixteen-year-old Fred Barras was shot dead by Martin in the same burglary in August 1999.
Martin was sentenced to five years after a murder conviction was reduced to manslaughter. …
