Retort package food product for diabetics.

Nichirei has added three items to retort food series Tonyobyo Shoku (food for diabetics), including Ishikarinabe Set (salmon pot dish set, 900 yen) and Konsai Curry Set (root vegetable curry set, 900 yen). The series now has 21 varieties including Japanese, Western and Chinese foods and has the approval of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as Foods for Special Dietary Uses. All items are 320 calories per serving. Daily calorie intake can be controlled at about 1500 calories when the product is consumed with one bowl of rice three times a day.
